The Voice Team (which used to be called the participation team) works with children and young people to help them express their views.
It is important that children and young people have a say in how things can get better for them, and also how things can improve at Sandwell Children’s Trust.

Article 12 of Children's Rights states
Children have the right to an opinion in adult decisions which affect them. Their opinions should be taken seriously.

Working together is the means by which young people realise their rights, where they join with adults to make decisions.

Voices of Sandwell
Voices of Sandwell is a group of young people aged 11-17 that are looked after by Sandwell Children’s Trust. It is a place to get involved in lots of exciting projects and learn new skills.
FIYA
The Forum for Independent Young Adults (FIYA) offers the chance to make a difference and make things better for young adults and children we care for.
SHAPE
The SHAPE Programme organises events and opportunities throughout the year for children and young people to engage in positive activities.
