Use language that we can understand
Understand that not everyone speaks the same language or uses the same words as you. Sometimes the words you use can be like a code.
Think about how the words that you use could make us feel. This is important when you are writing things down about us that we will read one day, or that other people will use to make a decision about us.
When you use initials and jargon it can be confusing to us.
A good example of this is when we hear you talk about ‘cases’. We are children!
